Botanical motifs have been reigning in interiors for several seasons and are still in trend. In the kitchen, however, live plants look best, especially those that can also be used in the preparation of meals. Small domestic flowerbeds, greenhouses and herbs are becoming very popular, thus becoming a part of an ecological lifestyle in harmony with nature. In addition to home-grown crops, waste segregation is becoming more and more popular, and the near future is also the independent production of fertilizers.
Indoor gardening is a hobby, which finds more and more followers. Establishing one's own crop has many advantages and is possible even on a small area. In small kitchens, pots placed on shelves and window sills or flowerbeds hung on the wall or ceiling are the best solution. Fashion for the garden at home promotes healthy eating. What's more, plants, including those at home, have a positive impact on our well-being - they purify the air and produce oxygen, which is particularly valuable in big cities struggling with the problem of smog. A home garden doesn't require a lot of money and can bring a lot of joy. An oasis in the apartment calms our senses and can also enrich our diet.
What can I grow in the kitchen?
The most popular plants we grow in kitchens are chives, cress, rosemary, thyme, parsley, and basil. We can also successfully grow tomatoes and peppers on the window sill. The most important factor influencing the growth of herbs and vegetables, in addition to fertilizer, is adequate lighting. Most sunshine is needed for herbs, e.g. rosemary. However, parsley and chives are slightly less demanding. Pots with these vegetables can stand in the shade.
Nature-friendly solutions
There are many products available on the market which support a pro-ecological attitude. Among the novelties there are, among others, hydroponic devices for the growth of herbs. Their innovation is that plants do not require soil. Another proposal, which is part of the eco-current, are special systems for sorting waste of different sizes and intended use. This is a well-known topic, but still not a standard in our homes, which leaves a wide field for manufacturers to show off.

Functional and easy to use selectors. This well-thought-out and helpful solution will make it easier to separate the garbage, and at the same time we will have order in the cupboard under the sink. What is more, an interesting and very functional sink model compatible with the described segregation systems has been introduced recently. An additional chamber in combination with a special cartridge offers new possibilities for dealing with organic waste in the kitchen. Peel and slice the products on a board, then with a single movement of your hand you can move the remains into a special container. Then the cartridge with a lid can be hung in the baskets of selectors of various capacities. Simple!
Comfortable command centre
Ecological cuisine, thanks to modern solutions, will easily become a functional command center. According to experts, the development of space concentrated near the sink is the factor that has the greatest impact on the comfort of work in the kitchen.
