Maria Treben's Swedish herbs include saffron, senes, rhubarb and turmeric root, manna, angelica root and nine forces, natural camphor and sawmill (alternating with aloe).

They can be used for a wide range of illnesses and, above all, prophylactic. These herbs are not only safe and efficient, but also easy to prepare. They are mainly used in the treatment of toothache, inflammation and irritation of the throat, visual abnormalities and chickenpox or jaundice. What is more, daily use of the mixture significantly affects skin, digestion, good appetite and proper metabolism.

Swedish herbs - contraindications
Swedish herbs should not be used in case of intestinal obstruction, cirrhosis, epilepsy and kidney failure. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take them either. If you are particularly sensitive to any of the ingredients in the mix and if you use psychotropic substances or consume large amounts of alcohol, you should also avoid using Treben's herbs. Since Swedish herbs are prepared on the basis of alcohol, it is best not to consume them before servicing motor vehicles.
How to use Swedish herbs?
Herbs, after pouring 2x0.7 liters of alcohol (preferably good fruit vodka or rye), should be left in a warm place for 14 days and remember to shake them every day. After the recommended time, drain the prepared tincture and pour it into dark bottles, and then transfer it to a cool place, where it can lie even for several years. In case of any kind of ailments, you should take 3 teaspoons of elixir per day, whereas a teaspoon (diluted with water) in the morning and in the evening is sufficient for prophylaxis. For more serious diseases, 2-3 tablespoons a day are recommended, while for external use - a cotton swab saturated with herbs, applied for 2-4 hours per wound, previously greasy ointment.
