If large potted flowers appear in our living room or hall, we can be sure that they will turn out to be an excellent decoration and ingenious filling of the interior. It is therefore advisable to get acquainted with the most popular large potted plants, which can be kept in a house or apartment at the same time. When we think about the plants that may appear in our homes and apartments, the compact ones are usually the first choice.

In most cases, we also want the plants we have selected not to grow too fast. Sometimes it turns out, however, that the more impressive plants are those, which will be useful to us to a much greater extent, because they may turn out to be an excellent decoration of a large living room.

Physics

Even people who don't have much experience in plant care are well aware that one of the most popular large potted plants is the benjamin fig, also known as ficus. It is not a difficult plant to cultivate, and its great advantage is its rapid growth. The ficus can be as high as three metres, and if it comes into contact with light all year round and stays at room temperature, its breeding does not have to be complicated at all. Just keep in mind that ficus like a damp, but not wet substrate. If our care is burdened with some mistakes, the plant will quickly start to turn yellow and its leaves will start to fall, which will give us information that certain actions will have to be changed.

Leafy Fikus

Not only the most classic fig is, however, a large pot plant, which enjoys considerable popularity. The really high recognition of breeders can also be said in the context of the lyrolium ficus with its characteristic large, interesting leaves. The springy ficus looks interesting as well. Its leaves are also large and growers appreciate their elongated shape and thick skin. Of course, the impressive size of the leaves also has its drawbacks, so be aware that they can quickly accumulate dust. The problem can only be solved by washing them frequently. Spring Ficus is a much more resistant plant than its cousins, so it can cope with both a darkened site and temporary drought. In Polish houses and flats there is no shortage of the most magnificent palms.

Coral palm

The coral palm is especially popular, but the yellow arena, howea and the royal palm arena are also fashionable. No wonder that palm trees are so popular, because they bring to mind relaxation, holidays and beaches. Their presence in the interior gives it a slightly exotic atmosphere and ensures that the living room will be remembered by its guests. Palms are most often chosen not only large, but also spreading plants, so don't be surprised if they reach even 3 meters in height. It is best to provide them with enough space. It should also be remembered that palms like room temperature all year round and a constantly damp substrate. Their position should be clear, but it does not have to be directly exposed to sunlight.
