Aloe vera in its natural form is not very interesting for most people, but you can prepare a lot of much more interesting products from it without losing its properties.
Aloe Vera wine
Keep 500g of aloe vera leaves in the fridge for 7-10 days, then remove the spikes and cut them into pieces several centimetres long. Then grind them in a meat grinder and pour over about ½ litre of wine. After thorough mixing, add 500g of honey to the resulting mixture and mix again very thoroughly. The potion should be kept in a dark place for 3-5 days. If you don't have a razor, you can use a blender.
The prepared wine should be strained through a sieve, poured into bottles and stored in a refrigerator. They are then drunk 1 teaspoonful of tea 3 times a day one hour before a meal, and for the next 3 weeks the dose is increased to 1 tablespoon. After this month you should take a break of 10-14 days, after which you can start the treatment again.
The recipe for wine may be modified by changing the proportions or adding spirit. Wine helps mainly with stomach and duodenum problems.
Aloe Vera infusion
As with wine, aloe vera should be cut into small pieces and then thrown into a thermos with a small handful of sage leaves and marigold or lanceolate grandmother. Pour 1.5 litres of hot water over the thermos and turn it on for about an hour. The resulting infusion is suitable for rinsing the mouth and nose. It can be used to wash intimate areas, to perform tamponing and to make poultices for ulcers and wounds. The infusion is also effective as rectal infusions.
Aloe vera honey
In a ratio of 1:2, crushed aloe leaves (with picked thorns) should be combined with any type of honey, preferably lime. The resulting suspension should be heated on gas until boiling, then allowed to stand for one day, bring to the boil again and strain through a thick sieve. After cooling, place such honey in the fridge.
Honey with aloe vera is taken every morning on an empty stomach in the amount of one teaspoon tea an hour before breakfast.
Glycerol extract of aloe vera
Mix 100g of leaves mixed with 100ml of water to obtain a uniform consistency, then add 150ml of glycerine, lemons to taste and mix thoroughly. After 24 hours, the resulting pulp should be passed through a thick sieve and poured into a bottle. Store in a refrigerator. It is a cosmetic product and an effective after-shave liquid.
